Vineyard Kids is the overall name we give our Children's Ministry.  We group our children

into 3 basic age groups to better meet their individual needs.

Sunday Mornings

Coming this Fall - Evening Service

Elementary

Our elementary classes bring our 1st - 5th grades together for a time of worship (singing) and large group teaching.  After the ground work has been laid in the large group, we break down into smaller groups, narrowing the age groups even further to teach and explain at a more age appropriate level.  We meet in the gym.

Pre School
Treasure Land is where our pre-schoolers meet.  We define pre-school as mature 3 year olds, 4's , 5's, and Kindergarteners.  Treasure Land is located on the second floor, just off our main lobby at the top of the steps.  A typical Sunday morning exerience would include a Bible story, prayer time, snack time, and play time.

Nursery

Our children ages 3 months to 3 years are taught/cared for in our nursery facility on the first floor, just off the main lobby hallway.  Although there is no "official" lesson plan, we do share the love of Jesus at every opportunity and look for teachable moments to reinforce God's love.

Wednesday Nights

AWANA Bible Club

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (awana)(2 Timothy 2:15) 

This group offers our children ages 3 through grade 6 the opportunity to learn and study God's Word, the Bible, in a fun, interactive way where the kids play games, worship, and memorize together.  As the kids go through their handbooks they earn uniforms and various patches and stickers to put on their uniforms.  The uniform helps build team and a sense of pride as their uniforms start to fill up with awards.  Children are separated into age appropriate groups to better meet their needs and learning styles.

Nursery

Our nursery is available for children who are not old enough to participate in the Awana program.  Organized lesson plans are not used, but God's love is abundant as we interact with these children one on one.

Explorers Club

Our boys grades 4 through 6 have yet another choice in how they participate in our Wednesday night ministries.  Our Explorers Club was develped to meet these boys where they are at.  Likened to a boy scout troup, we teach practical, hands on skills such as camping, fishing, photography, first aid, etc. but we also include a Bible teaching each time we meet and challenge the boys to use the skills that are taught for God's purposes.
