What should I expect when I visit for the first time?
We know it's not easy visiting a church for the first time. You may be asking yourself questions such as: Am I really welcome? Will I be conspicuous? How do I dress? Will my kids like it? Will they ask me for money? Am I welcome if I am not sure I believe? We want your visit to be to be a stress free and fun so here is a quick overview of what to expect at our church.
Arriving
The main doors of our church are at the rear of the building as you arrive from Princeton Road. Just inside the doors is an information booth with friendly people to help with any questions you may have. If you have kids with you, they can help answer questions about our children’s Sunday school classes or nursery.
Coffee/Tea/Water/Snacks
To your left as you walk in you’ll see our café area. We offer free gourmet coffee or tea, and have fancier coffee drinks or other snacks for sale. Once you've poured your coffee, feel free to take it into the main worship auditorium. We're OK with that.
Kids
If you have kids we can help you find the great children’s programs we offer. You are always welcome to take your kids into the services with you, but most of our kids really prefer the kid's programs. We have developed a good security system so you will know that your kids are safe and well cared for.
Worship Service
The worship service begins with some meaningful yet high-energy worship, followed by a welcome and prayer. Our lead pastor, Ken Ritz, will give a message that is based on the Bible and relevant to daily life. The teaching will last about 30-35 minutes and we generally end the service with prayer and a song. The whole service is about 75 minutes.
The music at Vineyard has a contemporary/modern feel (drums, guitars, keyboard, and vocalists.) You will enjoy learning new songs and occasionally singing some old favorites.
As soon as we dismiss, you can pick up your kids from their classrooms and then stay around and enjoy some more coffee if you’d like, as you get to know some people.
ABOUT US
New Life Vineyard was founded about 15 years ago as a church plant of the Vineyard Community Church (Springdale). We share a dream of building a church in the heart of Butler County where people can connect with God in a real and meaningful way.
We are seeing the fruit of that dream come to pass as hundreds of people meet each week to worship, learn, laugh, and team up together to be a part of God's incredible plan.
At the Vineyard, children and youth are a key focus, senior adults are celebrated, and people from all walks and backgrounds are treated to a message of hope, love, and the goodness of God.
We want to personally invite you to be our guest at our Sunday service. Come a few minutes early and grab a coffee at our cafe. We're looking forward to seeing you this Sunday!
