BAPTISM What is baptism? Baptism is a symbol of our sins being washed away (Acts 22:14-16). It is a symbol of our death to sin and new life in Christ (Romans 6:3-4) and it is a symbol of being born again into God’s family (John 3:3-6). Who can be baptized? Those who have confessed their sin (Matthew 3: 4-6), those who have repented (Acts 2:38), and those who have believed in Jesus as their savior (Acts 18:7-8). Baby Dedications are for parents to promise to raise their child to know and love God. We do not baptize babies at the Vineyard. We believe in baptizing them when they make a decision to be a Christian. If your child would like to be baptized or if you would like to dedicate your baby, talk to the Children’s Pastor, Carol Ritz (513-737-9700 or carolritz.nlv@gmail.com) |
