AWANA

Awana Kick-Off: September 15

Awana is a program that is in thousands of churches all over the world. While school is in session (from September through June) we have Awana on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 (check-in starts 6:45pm).

Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). Awana is a nondenominational Bible-centered children's and youth ministry. Our time is split between large group time, game time, and handbook time. Children are grouped by age into our Puggles, Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T programs.

Puggles are boys and girls age 2-3 (not potty-trained). Children learn bible stories based on their age level.

Cubbies are boys and girls age 3, 4 and 5. Cubbies time can include singing, prayer, puppets, Bible lessons, scripture memorization, play time, and awards. The Cubbies meet upstairs in the preschool classroom.

Sparks are boys in girls in kindergarten through 2nd grade. Sparks meet with the large group and then separate for handbook time (scripture memorization and other activities), and game time.

T&T (Truth & Training) is a group for boys in girls in 3rd through 6th grade. T&T groups meet with the large group and then separate for handbook time (scripture memorization and other activities), and game time.
